A space boomer who grew up on a cargo ship only capable of travel at Warp two, Travis Mayweather was born on a run somewhere between Dreylax and Vega Colony. He rarely spent time on Earth and preferred a life when he could sense the hum of the engines and occasionally sleep in Zero-G. Leaving his home aboard the Earth cargo ship Horizon was a difficult decision, but he could not turn down the opportunity to join StarFleet and serve on the first Warp Five vessel capable of exploring deep space in a fraction of the time he was accustomed.
