In this novel, the first of The Glass Empires collection, Hoshi takes over command of the fleet by killing Emperor Jonathan Archer. She kills him after having sex with him, while Reed was exactly like a preying mantis. This novel has 152 pages and was published in 2007. Hoshi is the empress within the book. She made love to Archer and then killed him, while his trusted guard Reed was incapacitated. She killed Tucker as well, while T'Pol was in the brig with Phlox. Hoshi was on the Defiant.
AG Robinson is the fleet commander. The Defiant was from the future. Robinson was communicating from Imperature. T'Pol and Phlox were in the brig for an unknown reason. Wilham broke T'Pol and Phlox out of the brig by electrifying the guard.
Gardener was ordering a suicide run against Defiant. The Defiant destroyed the ship. Tucker was helping T'Pal. T'Pal was taking the specs of Defiant to destroy it and possibly construct a duplicate. T'Pal loved Tucker, he helped her through her Ponfar, since then she fantasied about him, he felt the same, they shared a telepathic link, she had chosen to Nelson ot mate with him.
Hoshi became Empress and she got married to Shran. Hoshi was in her homeland, now the center of the Federation. She met with Shran and two other Andorians.
T'Pol just met with T'Pau on Vulcan. T'Les T'Pols mother died. She was killed when StarFleet killed a Cell of Monks. T'Pau was ready to leave Vulcan and even the Delta Quadrant so the Vulcan people would survive. T'Pol told T'Pau that the war never took place in the other reality and it was only the human future not the Vulcans.
Mayweather was captain of Enterprise. Reed was the chief of security. Phlox was the doctor. Arik Soong was science office.
A rebellion was going on in the Devolian System. T'Pol told Phlox and Soong about the other reality, when asked why the Defiant had USS instead of ISS. Someone attempted to assinate Mayweather.
Shran betrayed the fleet by sending the Defiant and the fleet the to the Devolian System and leaving Earth defenseless. PHoshi was on Earth and almost got murdered. Carpenter, a man who was her bodyguard saved her and she loved him for that.
On board, she would of stabbed Shran, her husband, if she had her knife. But Shran took blood from Hoshi. He was going to create an embryo and rule through him. Hoshi had a thing with Tucker as well. Mayweather, Tucker and Reed were going to work together and figure out what was going on with the empire and try straighten it out.
Hoshi woke in a panic striken not known where she was or how she got there. She found some hairpins in a gown thanks to some Denobulins. T'Pal was accompanied by three Vulcan males on the ship. They knocked Hoshi out.
Soong was studying Federation technology. He found out how to replicate food. He also figured out how to replicate weapons. He encrypted all his research so he wouldn't be eliminated. Three planets were destroyed but they had no rebel outposts.
Hoshi was abducted to Vulcan. Hoshi was made aware of what Shran had done. She was attempting to make a deal with Tpol to let the Vulcans live besides the empire. She was on trial on Vulcan. An ambush was set up for the Defiant.
Hoshi was rescued by Tpol. Andorians were to be apprehended. Tpau tried to kill. Tpol but Tpol injured her. Hoshi took command of the Defiant. She ordered all Andorians to be taken to the brig. Three Andorians were left on the bridge.
The first sign of traitorous action they were dead. The Defiant blew up a Vulcan ship. Tpol gave Hoshi an overide code to disable the Fleets ships. Hoshi got the Vulcans to become Fedration alleys. Tpol was Vulcan supreme regaint. The fleet was going to conquer the Romulan empire.
Hoshi was growing her and Shrans son. She named her son Jonathan Archer.
