Jonathan Archer

Jonathan Archer one of the first Starship captains to venture out into space. He was the first captain the legendary Enterprise, whose name has gone down as one of the greats. He was responsible for greatly expanding the Earths presence within the Alpha Quadrant and Beta Quadrant. He made first contact with more than dozes of species. Archer saved Earth from the Xindi and paved the way in forming The United Federation of Planets. He would become the first president of the Federation.
He was born in 2112, to Henry Archer, the warp scientist and his wife Sally in upstate New York. His earliest interest in space was a book entitled The Cosmos A-Z, which his father gave him on his eighth birthday. Jonathon’s fascination with space led him to want to join what would become Starfleet.
In 2124, his father died of Clarke’s disease after suffering hallucinations as well as pains for years previous. Fortunately he had a good relationship with Emory Erikson, who became like a second father to him.
For undergrad he attended Stanford, where he was accomplished in Water Polo. During his senior year he competed in a regional match. A few years before Starfleet was chartered he gave serious thought to becoming a cargo bout sailor.
